The Task & Project Vision

We have previously installed rustic grey vinyl flooring in our clients home. A year later they requested our services for a kitchen remodel. Before embarking on this kitchen remodel, we conducted an in-depth consultation to understand our client's vision and needs. Our task was to transform the kitchen into a central hub suitable for family life and homeschooling activities--a modern, multifunctional space.

The transformation of this kitchen marries functional design with aesthetic elegance, creating a space that not only caters to culinary pursuits but also to the dynamics of family life and home education. This thoughtfully redesigned kitchen showcases a sophisticated palette anchored by new custom cabinets painted in an inviting Oak Moss green. This color choice beautifully complements the rustic grey vinyl flooring, previously installed, weaving a tapestry of natural hues that evoke both warmth and modernity.

Strategically widened, the kitchen peninsula now boasts expansive drawers, making it an ideal spot for children to access homeschooling materials easily. This enhancement underscores the kitchen's role as a versatile hub adapted for both cooking and learning activities. The seamless integration of champagne bronze fixtures and rustic bronze cabinet handles adds a touch of understated luxury, while the newly added upper cabinet shelving—ideal for displaying decorative items or storing essentials—further elevates the space's functionality and style.

Removing the cosmetic grey beam opened up the space significantly, enhancing the airy feel, which is brilliantly illuminated by new LED halo lighting in the ceiling and under-cabinet lighting, ensuring that every corner is suffused with warmth. The addition of elegant pendant lighting not only focuses attention on the island but also serves as a stylish focal point.

Together, these elements weave a narrative of modern sophistication and practicality, creating a kitchen that is not just a place for preparing meals but a central, multifunctional space suited to the rhythms of everyday family life. The Oak Moss green cabinets blend seamlessly with the existing colors, enhancing the kitchen's connection to natural elements and providing a serene backdrop that complements the minimalist elegance of the white quartz surfaces.
