Immersive Provence Blue Kitchen

The Task & Project Vision

It was a pleasure to be called back by a returning client, whose bathroom we had previously completed. This sense of trust and satisfaction in our work filled us with joy and pride. For this project, we centered the design around the client's favorite color, Provence Blue, which served as the guiding protagonist alongside a modern two-tone color scheme incorporating white accents.

As interior designers, we focused on enhancing the client's experience by providing easy access to cookware and ingredients through the installation of custom cabinets. These cabinets featured practical and innovative solutions such as corner shelf systems, cookie cutter drawers, lazy susans, spice racks, and garbage pullout drawers, all integrated into the upper, lower, and island cabinets. This thoughtful approach to organization and accessibility significantly improved the kitchen's functionality.

We selected striking white quartz countertops with delicate grey veining to complement the two-tone cabinets, creating a visually appealing and harmonious balance. A multicolored subway tile backsplash featuring glossy whites and blues seamlessly tied the design together, enhancing the overall aesthetic. For flooring, we opted for larger 18x36 gray tiles that extended from the kitchen to the utility room, establishing a unified and cohesive flow throughout the space.

To complete the modern look, we installed cabinet lighting under the upper cabinets and multiple Halo LED lights in the kitchen ceiling, creating a well-lit and inviting atmosphere. The dramatic transformation is evident in the striking contrast between the "before" and "after" photos, showcasing the clever integration of easy-access cabinetry features and the visually stunning color palette, resulting in a truly remarkable and personalized kitchen space.
