Modern Farmhouse Bath

The Task & Project Vision

This was an existing client who now tasked us to complete a bath and kitchen project simultaneously. Being called back for further projects is a testament to our craftsmanship. Our client desired elegant colors and materials in their bath and greatly favored a subtle farmhouse style. We removed the tub, expanded the shower area, to create a large walk-in shower. We used a white porcelain tile for the walls with minimal movement and used a basket weave mosaic to adorn the shower floor.

We ran wood look tile throughout the home, kitchen and master bath floor were included. The wood look tile was a natural light grey, playing and complementing the white shower tiles and the darker custom cabinets. New custom vanity cabinets with a shaker look were fitted, and painted in a dark grey with a bluish tint. To match, mirrors with a custom rectangular frame were painted the same color as the master bath vanity cabinet.

For added convenience, beneath the custom floating cabinet, we placed motion senor lighting making morning or midnight walks in the bath space easier without having to turn on any bright lights. We replaced the entrance to the master bath with a sliding barn door and painted it white. The natural look of the barn door worked in perfect union with the flooring, while the white aided in marrying the existing theme in the master bath space. Our client was pleased to see their modern farmhouse come to fruition, appreciating the enhanced functionality of their renovated bathroom space.
