The Task & Project Vision

We had previously installed wood flooring in our client's home in Arlington and were called back for additional projects. This is a great joy for us and a source of pride, as it speaks to the quality of our service. For the bathroom, our client desired a classy and timeless look with natural tones. We chose travertine as the primary material, as it brings warmth and a natural appearance similar to wood in design.

Travertine's creamy, natural tones create a cozy and inviting atmosphere, while its natural variations and pitted surface add depth and character to the space. We selected a lighter colored travertine for the floor and a shaded travertine for the shower wall and tub surround. The shower was encased with travertine and featured a cream tumbled subway border for an added touch of luxury.

We used the same dark granite on the shower step and the bathroom vanity to create a cohesive look. The vanity cabinets were refaced to complement the warmer tones present in the bathroom space. Recessed halo lights were added to enhance the overall ambiance of the project. With proper maintenance, travertine can withstand the test of time, providing a timeless and elegant aesthetic that will continue to impress for years to come.
